The Club was formed in 1894 to support the Irish Home Rule movement which aspired to self government within Ireland. Today, the Club has no affiliations to any political party and is used as a social club.
The club opens at 8.30pm every day. You don’t have to be a member to come in and enjoy a drink, have a game of darts or just watch TV. The members are a friendly bunch and there is always a good atmosphere. The Club is situated at No 3 Johns Quay in Kilkenny which is close to Johns Bridge and the new Lady Desart Bridge.
There is live music on Friday and Saturday night's. Visit the Facebook page to find out who's playing.
