The towpath is a flat grass track following the river as it meanders south towards the sea. Safe and traffic free bike trail allows you to pedal at a relaxed pace and experience peace and freedom. keep your eyes peeled for some of the fabulous wildlife in this area.

Kingfishers flit by with a flash of iridescent blue, and otters are plentiful along this stretch of river. Stop for delicious tea and cakes in Graigue, Borris or St. Mullins.

For the more adventurous you can leave the towpath behind and tackle Brandon Hill, the highest point in Co. Kilkenny.
