The Gables & Longbowe self-catering accommodation is a spacious cosy 18th-century fishing lodge restored by the owner Kevin in 1989, dates back to the original Archersgrove house.

On arrival, you will be personally greeted with a warm Irish welcome by your hosts, Kevin and Joan, who will show you to your cottage where a complimentary "Welcome Pack" of home baking awaits you.

You like find a peaceful haven at the Gables!  Wake in the morning to the sound of birds singing outside in the horse chestnut tree and gaze out at the ponies grazing in the fields. After a day exploring Kilkenny take a walk down to the river to catch fresh fish for your supper in the River Nore which flows through the farm or visit a local Irish pub and listen to some traditional music.

Beechview Apartments provide luxurious and spacious self-catering accommodation and comfort to guests visiting Kilkenny City. They are ideal for family getaways. These are available to to guests for full week, weekend or midweek breaks throughout the year. Croan Cottages are fully furnished to an exceptionally high standard and include three bedroom and two bedroom spacious detached holiday cottages. Each holiday home has an open fire, a private furnished patio and barbeque area. The cottages are set around a charming courtyard, surrounded by beautifully mature Lime trees, with a duck pond, boules court and games area close by. Visitors will appreciate the extreme comfort, relaxing nature and high end facilities Croan Cottages has to offer. Relax and enjoy splendid surroundings with Castle Morres demesne just next door, an impressive forest park of almost 2,000 acres, walled gardens and Orchards providing plenty of fresh produce for guests to enjoy during their stay. All of the cottages are designated as 'No Smoking'. Smoking is permittted outside. Pets are permitted to stay with their owners in some of the cottages.

About Us

We have been welcoming guests to Killure Holiday Cottages since 1989. The two cottages - The Barn and The Lodge - are located on a working farm that has been in our family for over 5 generations, dating back to around 1845.

Over the years we have worked hard to ensure that our self-catering properties are equipped to a very high standard and will provide you with everything you need during your stay.

Mount Coggill country house and Studio Apartment is built within the ruins of a traditional farmhouse on the Kilkenny, Carlow boarders in South East Ireland. The house was remodelled in 2000 using green oak. This Kilkenny self catering accommodation consists of a spacious house and will sleep 8 comfortably. The Studio Apartment will sleep 4. It is sitting on top of a hill over 400 feet above sea level. The panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and the Kilkenny plain are breath taking sight for guests staying in this Kilkenny self catering accommodation. It is set in 30 acres of farm land and forest – the garden is semi-wild with grassed areas. It is a very unusual house set in splendid isolation down a rough country boreen (small lane) which leads only to this house.

Please note: The house is not safe for children under 8 and the Apartment is not suitable for children under 6.
