This December Yulefest Kilkenny invites you to experience the Irish debut of Luxmuralis: Starlight, a 360° immersive light and sound spectacular that will transform the awe-inspiring, 800-year-old St. Canice’s Cathedral into a breathtaking canvas of colour and creativity. Presented as part of Yulefest Kilkenny, Starlight invites you on a powerful journey into the heart of Christmas through a 35-minute loop of moving projections and a cinematic soundscape inspired by the guiding star of the Nativity. Created by the internationally acclaimed artistic duo Peter Walker and David Harper, Luxmuralis has captivated audiences across Europe with installations at St. Paul’s Cathedral, Oxford University, and The Tower of London. Now, for the very first time in Ireland, visitors can step inside the story and witness a truly magical fusion of light, music, and history, an unforgettable festive experience that promises to become a new Christmas tradition in Kilkenny.
