This 60-minute experience gives visitors the inside track on the people behind Ireland’s vibrant craft and design industry. Led by an expert guide, you will hear the history of Kilkenny Design Centre and learn how it helped shape the modern craft and design industry in Ireland. Along the way, the experience also connects Kilkenny’s medieval architecture, heritage and cultural identity with its contemporary creative scene.
