The Happy Pottery

Discover the artist within at The Happy Pottery, a bright and welcoming pottery painting studio in Kilkenny. This relaxed, hands-on experience invites visitors of all ages and abilities to slow down, have fun and create a personalised ceramic piece in their own style.

During the Craft a Memory experience, you will choose from a wide selection of pottery pieces, including mugs, bowls, boxes, kitchen items and homeware. A trained facilitator will introduce you to pottery painting, demonstrate helpful tricks and techniques and guide you as you decorate your chosen piece.

The atmosphere is social, friendly and pressure-free, making it a lovely experience for friends, families, groups or anyone who simply wants some creative time in Kilkenny. All tools, materials and equipment are provided, and your finished piece will be kiln fired after the session. It will be ready for collection within seven days, with postage available for an additional charge.
