Cakeface Juniors Cookery Camp
2-Day cookery camp for budding chefs (31st March & 1st April)
10am – 3pm
This two-day camp is designed to upskill budding chefs in sweet & savoury cookery. Students will join Cakeface cookery experts in their funky state-of-the-art kitchen and each day learn a main course and dessert, fit to make at home and impress. This course will suit junior chefs that have an interest in cooking and cook at home. The course is also aimed to give kids life skills and hands-on experience in the kitchen. Students will be expected to follow directions, read recipes, work cleanly and efficiently and, of course, have some fun! This course is suitable for 4th class upwards
Castlecomer Discovery Park Easter Camps

Mr Wonka returns for another tremendous Easter in Jurassic Newpark, bringing along his friends the Oompa Loompas, the Easter Bunny, and of course, the rawr-some dinosaurs! Explore the Fairy Village, meet our Talking Tree & Guardian of the Fairy Trail, and enjoy a Jurassic-themed Easter Egg Hunt. Laser Wars Easter Camp
Mark your calendars for an unforgettable Easter with Laser Wars! Take part in a fun-filled 4 day camp, meet new friends and learn new skills. Based just 10-minutes from Callan, kids will explore the great outdoors and have days full of activities proving that you’re never too old for laser games! The camps run from 7-10th April, 9am -2pm.
Nore Valley Park Egg Hunt
You loved it last year and now it’s back and bigger than ever with 2 Easter egg events for children of all ages. The Nore Valley Park Easter egg hunt runs from the 28th & 29th March and the 3rd, 4th, 5th April 2026 from 10am – 4pm.
At this year’s egg hunt, children can choose their own adventure with the Little Explorers Egg Hunt, ideal for small legs and big excitement or the Farm Explorer Egg Hunt, where the bigger kids will be armed with a map and answer sheet, searching for numbered coloured eggs hidden along the way and embracing their inner detective skills! All detectives will receive a well-earned chocolate egg at the end of their travels!
Art-It
Fun for all ages, Art-It teacher, Didi invites everybody to join in on the fun this Easter with walk-in art sessions. Located in MacDonagh Junction Shopping Centre, it is the perfect place for the kids to unleash their creativity while you get some shopping done! Art It gives children the space to experiment with different creations from feathering, gemming and buttoning to painting their own jewellery boxes, money bank, t-shirts, masks and more!

Join Douglas and Tracy Higgins for an immersive candle-making experience at their sustainable workshop in the heart of Kilkenny. Under the guidance of the experts, you can select an eco-friendly soy wax and your choice of vegan fragrances to create a candle that’s uniquely yours. Easter Floral Wreath Making Workshop
