Kilkenny Leader Partnership are delighted to continue our series of Global Kitchen pop up cafés in the Kilkenny Home Rule Club.
Food is an integral part of all of our cultures. The cafes present an opportunity for new community members in Kilkenny to highlight their cuisine and their culture whilst providing an opportunity to meet new people opening up new conversations. Previous Cafes have hosted Malaysian, Lebanese, Ukrainian, Irish, Balkan, Nigerian, Middle Eastern and Afghan food to appreciative customers highlighting the diversity of our various communities in Kilkenny.
There will be an emphasis on healthy food options as many of our cooks have completed the HSE designed Healthy Food made Easy programmes run by Kilkenny Leader Partnership. The Global Kitchen is a very popular series we advise booking in advance to avoid disappointment!
This event as part of Savour Food Festival will highlight food from around the world prepared by new members of our community in Kilkenny. We will highlight a selection of typical dishes for lunch followed by desert and tea and coffee.
