Two Kilkenny artists are creating extraordinary botanical artworks using plants foraged from local hedgerows. At Hedgerow & Wayside, Jen Castle and Polly Minett transform elderberries, nettles and foxgloves into both the handmade papers and natural dyes for their drawings and sculptures – proving that the most beautiful art materials might be growing right outside your door. The exhibition is completed with soundscapes recorded by composer Kate Powell, from local County Kilkenny hedgerows.
