This year is Cartoon Saloon’s 25th anniversary!
The five-time Academy Award nominated , BAFTA and Emmy winning animation studio was founded by directors Paul Young, Tomm Moore and Nora Twomey. From award-winning shorts to feature films and TV series, Cartoon Saloon has carved a special place in the international Animation industry. And they’re based right here in Kilkenny!
Over the festival weekend we will be screening a selection of films from the studio, kicking off with a FREE programme of shorts on October 5th in Butler Gallery’s Digital Gallery!
