Master fiddler Kevin Burke is regarded as one of the finest, most influential players in music today. From The Bothy Band to Patrick Street, he has defined Irish fiddling for a generation. Kevin has been awarded a National Heritage Fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts, the highest honour given in the United States for folk and traditional arts, and in 2016 was awarded the Gradam Ceol, Traditional Musician of the Year by TG4.
The Goodman Trio comprise acclaimed uilleann piper Mick O’Brien, multi-instrumentalist Emer Mayock and the renowned fiddle player Aoife Ní Bhriain. The fabulously talented trio will perform the music of Cannon James Goodman’s music. A native Dingle man, Goodman compiled more than 2,000 Irish tunes in his life now held in Trinity College Library.
Vaccination certs will not be required for the event.
All proceeds from the event will go to Amber Women’s Refuge.
