We’re rolling into Back to School Season with one of the best comedy lineups you’re going to see all year.
Headlining we have the amazing Sharon Mannion – resident host of the Comedy Cellar, Ireland’s longest running comedy club. She won the Tedfest Best Stand-Up award and is a founding member of sketch group Ghost Train Willy. Her TV credits include Bridget & Eamon, Moone Boy, Republic of Telly and Damo & Ivor. Anyone who has seen Sharon’s previous appearances at the club will know she’s an absolute killer!
Opening the show is Aoife Dunne, one of Ireland’s most exciting rising comedians, known for her razor-sharp stand-up, masterful storytelling, and viral sketches. Aoife is performing her solo show Good Grief at the Ambassador Theatre, Dublin a week after she stops off in Kilkenny. Come see her before she goes stratospheric!
Support comes from Kilkenny native Claire Roche returning to the club for the second time and Monaghan man Justin Cassidy making his Kilkenny debut!
