Songs After Dark is a series of evening songwriting workshops for adults, offering the opportunity to explore the art and craft of songwriting in a relaxed and creative setting. Facilitated by Luan Parle, award-winning Irish singer-songwriter, musician and creative facilitator.
Each workshop will be a masterclass in songwriting, exploring song structure, melody, lyrics, chord progressions, arrangement and storytelling, culminating in the creation of an original group song by the end of each workshop.
The workshops are open to everyone, whether you have written songs before or have never written a song. No previous songwriting experience is necessary. If you play an instrument, you’re encouraged to bring it along, although this is not essential. Each workshop is stand-alone, so participants can attend one, two, three or all four sessions.
