Castlecomer Discovery Park – Harry Potter Accio Adventure
Grab your wand and broom for a day of fun and magic. On 19th October Castlecomer Discovery Park will host a Harry Potter day. This is a special Harry Potter themed walking trail for young wizards and witches to explore. Solve the clues along the trail and discover the magic of the Discovery Park. On the day you can meet Snowy the Owl, try Quidditch and meet some Harry Potter characters. Come dressed as your favourite Harry Potter characters, and there will be prizes for the best costumes. Kilkenny Ghost Tour
Why not try a ghost tour through the ‘Medieval Capital of Ireland’ and uncover terrifying tales and horrid histories. With its narrow cobbled lanes, remnants of its city walls and with its mystic charm, it should be no surprise that Kilkenny is bursting with tales of the paranormal. Its people have told stories for generations, handed down to become far more than hearsay. Nore Valley Park
Nore Valley Park Kilkenny is holding their annual torchlight treasure hunt from Monday 28th to Thursday 31st of October 2019, starting each evening at 7pm. Tickets are on sale now online.
This is a fun, family-oriented evening for all ages. Search the farm in the dark with your torches to find the reflective markers and pick up clues, then solve the puzzle to win your prize! Afterwards, enjoy toasting marshmallows on our bonfire and test your nerve in the infamous and truly terrifying scare maze. Also, this Halloween season you can pick your own pumpkin from the pumpkin patch as part of normal farm entry; one free pumpkin per family.

SUBTITLE is in its 8th year, running from the 25th of November to 1st December 2019 in Kilkenny. This festival is a great opportunity to catch some of the most popular European films that can’t be found at multiplex cinemas. There will also be a chance to meet filmmakers and stars.
