Lorimat Jewellers is an award winning family business which has been operating in the heart of historic Kilkenny for more than 20 years and were voted ‘Jeweller of the Year’ at the Irish Wedding Awards 2019. Teresa Brennan, the founder of Lorimat, lived in London during the ‘Swinging Sixties’. It was there that she first became involved in selling antique, vintage engagement rings and wedding rings, and she continued to do so until returning to Ireland and Kilkenny in 1980. Teresa’s daughter Rita took over the business following Teresa’s retirement. She shares her mother’s passion for vintage engagement rings and wedding rings, and continues to carry a wide range of beautiful pieces. The rings feature not only diamonds, but also other elegant and beautiful precious stones such as sapphires, emeralds, rubies, and aquamarine. A range of antique and vintage jewellery including engagement rings and wedding rings helped make Lorimat a successful Kilkenny jeweller. Teresa used her expert knowledge and vast contacts to source beautifully-crafted pieces from both national and international suppliers, to the delight of antique and vintage jewellery lovers in Kilkenny and much further afield.
Home Try-On Service
During these difficult times, where we are restricted at home and can’t enjoy that very special day out engagement ring shopping in store at Lorimat, their ‘Home Try -On‘ service is the perfect option for newly engaged couples. They want to give you plenty of time and flexibility when choosing your rings and so they are offering a home try-on service to try 3 of their ring designs from a sample collection for 5 days then return them in the prepaid envelope and drop them off at your local post office. Sample collection is made from silver and cubic zirconia.
(don’t worry, these are silver and cubic zirconia!) for 5 days then pop in the box to return them and drop them off at your local post office.
Here’s how it works:
1. Choose three of their sample rings from the collection of rings available on www.lorimatkilkenny.ie.
2. They will post them out for you to try on and show your friends and family your chosen selection. If you have any questions during this time you can just contact Lorimat Jewellers on 056 7751455 or email info@lorimatkilkenny.ie
3. Tick the box of your chosen ring, finger size and precious metal.
4. You then return the rings within 5 days using the prepaid envelope provided, just drop it off at your local post office and your refund will be processed or they will contact you to place your order.
*A replacement charge of €250 shall be applied for rings not returned
