We are Rosemarie and Sile Hardy, 'Hardy Food'. We started our artisan food business simply enough by looking for a good quality pesto - we now make artisan Oat bread.
Originally we could not find a single pesto that did not havesome filler, preservative or alternative ingredient in it. So we started making our own. An unadulterated pesto to an original Italian recipe. To cover the cost of making such a delicious but expensive production we decided to sell our pesto at the local food market. Very soon we realised it was the bread on which we offered the tasters of our pesto that was of more interest to our customers!
