One of the oldest pubs in Kilkenny City which has retained its character for over 150 years!
Lenehan’s – one of the oldest pubs in Kilkenny city – and with the addition of the new “yard” in 2020 – one of the most modern spaces in the city. The bar which was sold by the Lenehan family in 2019 has remained largely untouched and is still one of the most authentic old bars remaining in Ireland with some of the original features like the snug, the remenants of the old grocery and the brandy and port casketts.
The yard is modern and boasts individual booths and ample covered seating. Food is served Monday through Saturday from 12.30 daily until 7.30…come visit us in Lenehan’s when you visit Kilkenny for a bite to eat or just a tipple where you will be offered a warm welcome by our efficient and friendly staff.
