Wired Irish Crafts

Wired Irish Crafts was set up in 2021 by husband-and-wife team, Tracy & Douglas Higgins. Our mission was to help eliminate the issues we encountered with traditional candles. Our focus was to provide eco-friendly candles using sustainable and reusable candle vessels with a zero-waste policy. Our products have eliminated the common issues, such as, candle tunnelling, evaporating fragrances and significantly reduced candle sooting. Therefore, providing customers with a true candle experience with an emphasis on value for money & sustainability. We provide sustainable and reusable/refillable candle vessels such as hand carved coconut shells, bamboo bowls and bespoke pottery.

Our studio in the Castleyard Kilkenny, is our home where we share our knowledge with customers all over the world, hand pour all our unique candles and run our in house Candle Making Workshops. The studio offers customers a firsthand experience to candle making and allows us to showcase our extensive range of natural fragrances and sustainable vessels.
