Mooncoin Beetroot is grown and handpicked by the Murphy family in the fertile river Suir Valley of South Kilkenny. The success of Mooncoin Beetroot stems from the fact that our beetroot is cooked and jarred in our home only hours after leaving the soil. This care, combined with our unique family recipe, produces beetroot we believe, to be of unrivalled quality!
Mooncoin Beetroot was established in 2012 as a result of an over producing garden patch. Starting with a small patch in their garden and originally just pickling for family and friends, they saw a gap in the market for a top quality home grown, handmade pickled beetroot. They're now growing over an acre and a half of the best quality beetroot for their products. Mooncoin Beetroot represents Irish homemade produce at it's very finest. This care and attention, combined with their unique family recipe, produces beetroot that they believe to be of unrivaled quality.
