FoodieFest is a unique new event celebrating food for the mind, body and soul.
This event will take place in the spectacular surrounds of Mountain View, Ballyhale, Co. Kilkenny, a private venue, which hosts one of the best known and most popular food markets in the country on the May Bank Holiday weekend, Saturday, May 4 and Sunday, May 5.
On Saturday 4 May, at 7pm guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a 4 course menu prepared by three Michelin-experienced MasterChef’s and overseen by Mountain View’s Executive Chef. The evening will start with a drinks reception, followed by dinner and live music and after dinner chats with the MasterChef’s – this is an evening not to be missed.
Seven contestants from the hit BBC show MasterChef are collaborating with Mountain View and local award-winning nutrition company Elite Living Nutrition for a unique new food festival this summer. The talented Chefs will host a series of masterclasses on Sunday 5th May 2024 – featuring a mouth-watering array of food types that are good for the mind, body and soul.
Aside from the culinary masterclasses in everything from Italian-style cooking, family-friendly meals and perfecting the art of the summer BBQ, food lovers will get the opportunity to attend workshops and talks on the Sunday, on how to grow their own produce, as well as specialised classes in pilates, good gut health and healthy nutritional treats for the kids.
