Join us for a special 'Landscapes in Bloom' Sip n' Sketch workshop on Thursday 28th March from 5.45 – 7.45pm and explore your inner creativity in a fun and informal art workshop accompanied by a glass of prosecco, wine or soft drink.

This Spring themed workshop will take inspiration from Landscape by May Guinness (part of our permanent collection) and William Wordsworth's lyric poem "I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud" (also called "Daffodils").

Under the guidance of Artist Rachel Burke, participants will paint their own spring landscape using mixed media - acrylic paints, acrylic inks, watercolours and drawing materials.

No experience is necessary. All materials will be provided.

Lingaun Valley Car Treasure Hunt

The annual Lingaun Valley Car Treasure Hunt takes place on Easter Monday 1st of April. This years route takes in Carrick-on-Suir, Piltown and Owning.

Cars go out from 2pm to 3pm and you can choose your starting place of the Library Car Park in Carrick-on-Suir or the The Marian Hall in Owning.

The event has become a great family fun day over the years with great prizes to be won. The entry Fee is €20 per car with refreshments a raffle and the announcement of the winners afterwards in the Marian Hall.
